Hall Of Ohana

The Hall of Ohana is a special honor reserved for the most dedicated KIWIN'S members, those who not only showed unwavering passion and commitment to our organization, but who also embody our five core values: Leadership, Inclusiveness, Character Building, Caring, and Ohana. These individuals have gone above and beyond in their contributions, representing the true spirit of what it means to be part of KIWIN'S.

Since Los Angeles HS KIWIN'S was chartered, Katherine has always been an active dues-paid member, constantly working to serve her community and ohana. When with her peers, she radiates an infectiously positive energy, embodying kindness and inclusivity at all times. Simultaneously, she is a student-athlete as she balances her passion for playing volleyball while maintaining a 4.20 weighted GPA.

Despite only becoming an officer this year, Vincent has gone above and beyond to become an active kiwi dedicated to service. His ability to take initiative and complete tasks before deadlines is no doubt impressive as he holds numerous positions within KIWIN'S. Although his presence in KIWIN'S has only recently started, he has become a growing presence as he represents a servant leader that constantly works to benefit his team.

Although Richmond HS KIWIN'S is a smaller club, they have no doubt shown incredible growth through their members' consistent engagement and participation with their fellow kiwis! Their club's officers have also displayed outstanding commitment, finding meaningful service events while also hosting impactful fundraisers. Altogether, Richmond embodies core values like leadership and ohana through their inclusive atmosphere where they strive to lead by example.

D ST. SHELTER DINNER

EVENT

MERCED HIGH SCHOOL | SAPPHIRE

Held by Merced HS in Sapphire Division, the D Street Shelter Dinner acted as an incredibly impactful community service event that also reached out to potential future members. At this event, kiwis served dinner to members of their community battling homelessness, fostering meaningful connections and creating everlasting memories. Together, they had a hearty meal, watched the World Cup, and even sung one of the residents "Happy Birthday" in both English and Spanish. All in all, this event had a beyond worthwhile effect, representing core values of care, inclusion, and ohana.
