GOVERNOR'S PROJECT

Each term, the Governor chooses a project for the district to focus on. This year, we are proud to announce that Governor Carter Lew has chosen Erika's Lighthouse for the 2026-2027 term.

What is Erika's Lighthouse?

Erika's Lighthouse is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and raising awareness about adolescent depression, encouraging good mental health, and breaking down stigma surrounding mental illness. 

​

SCHOLARSHIPS: CAF provides grants and scholarships for adaptive sports equipment, training, and competition expenses, giving athletes the resources they need to pursue their goals.

PASSION: Every person deserves the opportunity to live an active lifestyle and reach their athletic potential, regardless of physical ability.

TEAM BUILDING: CAF creates a supportive community through mentorship programs, adaptive sports clinics, and inclusive events that unite athletes, families, and supporters.

COMMITMENT: Overcoming physical challenges can be difficult and costly. CAF is committed to removing financial barriers and inspiring individuals to achieve independence, confidence, and success through sports.
