DIANE LIEU - GOLDSTONE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR

What kind of animal best describes you?
I think the animal that describes me best would be a tiger, because I'm a pretty patient being, courageous when I have to be, and strong at heart. Also, I think I look pretty darn good in stripes.

What's your favorite food?
I absolutely adore Italian food. Pastas, antipasti, and Italian sodas for me any day! This is also why I love eating at Olive Garden so much.

Who do you admire the most?
My hero would have to be my badminton coach, Gin Chen. She has gone through so many things and I admire her so much for that. She also makes herself available to all her students and ensures that our team functions like a family. She's always there for me and I love her for that.

Which planet would you most like to visit?
Neptune, because whenever I did a science project in Elementary, it was always on Neptune. Plus, the planet is all blue and it looks coooooooool.

Why KIWIN'S over any other high school club?
Because KIWIN'S offers more opportunities for teenagers who are looking to make a real difference in their community. It's because we are small that we are able to establish close bonds that make us a family. KIWIN'S has given me experiences that I will cherish forever as well as friends that I'll keep for a lifetime. <3

Has anyone inspired you to take on the role as a district officer?
The 2004-2005 Goldstone Lieutenant Governor, Angela Chinn. She is a very close friend of mine and when she told me her adventures and lessons she learned as a member of District Board, she sparked the flame that led to my becoming a DB member.

Any words of advice?
You only live once, so don't hold back. Most times, you'll never get a second chance.
